FEA 2013 Annual Conference
Attendees include Qualified Intermediaries (QIs), their primary tax and legal counsel, and affiliated industries (TIC sponsors, banks, real estate brokers, title companies, settlement/escrow agents, etc.). Both FEA members and non-members are encouraged to participate in the FEA Annual Conference.
Past conference sessions have covered topics such as:
- Alternatives to foreclosure
- Exchanges of intellectual property, mineral interest in land, or royalty rights in oil and gas
- Tax controversy and litigation issues
- Non-safe harbor exchanges and parking arrangements.
Annual Conference attendees can earn continuing education credit hours for a number of professional specialties, including legal and the Certified Exchange Specialist (CES®) designation.
All CES® designees attending will qualify for up to 12 general and 1 ethics hour of CE credit. See the detailed agenda contained in the Annual Conference brochure.
